East Tennessee teachers, how can we help?
Deadline: April 22, 2022
ORAU is committed to K-12 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in a number of ways, including Extreme Classroom Makeover, programs for K-12 student and professional development for K-12 educators.
ORAU directly supports schools by offering education grants to educators in Anderson, Campbell, Morgan, Roane and Scott Counties. Educators in these counties are invited to submit proposals to fund STEM programs.
Funds are available for projects to be carried out during the 2022-23 school year. ORAU has $30,000 available to support this year’s Education Grants program.
Educators who want their projects considered for ORAU funding should complete and submit and online proposal. All proposals are due by 5 p.m. ET on Friday, April 22.
Since 2002, ORAU has funded more than $500,000 in grants to area schools for projects that complement ORAU’s mission of enriching STEM education programs.
Previous grant recipients have purchased iPads, laptops, Math and Movement kits, 3D printers and other technology to complement classroom instruction.
