Target Audience: 5th-9th Grade Teachers

Attend this session to learn about how teachers across the US are utilizing Learning Blade to supplement and enrich student understanding of STEM/CS in a real-world problem-solving context.  There are 400 mini 15-minute lessons in Learning Blade that explore 100 careers and technologies in STEM/CS.  All 400 online lessons support learning about middle school math, science, English, social studies standards. This session is a general introduction to getting started using Learning Blade. 

Learning Blade is free for teachers in AL, AR, ID, LA, MO, MS, SC, and TN. Teachers should create a free account prior to the session.

Joshua Sneideman

Joshua Sneideman is Vice President at Learning Blade and the 2013 -2015 Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellow at the Department of Energy in the office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. While at the DOE he received recognition from the Secretary of Energy, Ernest Moniz, for his efforts to increase minority participation in STEM education. Sneideman is a 10-year middle school math and science teacher and father of 3 young girls.
